Math & AI Evaluation Specialist- Intermediate (AI Community)

About the Role:

TELUS Digital is seeking a Mathematical Reasoning & AI Evaluation Specialist to support the assessment of AI-generated mathematical content. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of mathematical outputs produced by AI systems. 

As a Math & AI Evaluation Specialist, you will analyze AI-generated responses, verify the correctness of solutions, identify errors or gaps in reasoning, and provide clear, constructive feedback to help enhance model performance. This is a flexible freelance or contract opportunity designed for candidates with academic or professional backgrounds in mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or other related quantitative disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate AI‑generated mathematical solutions, explanations, and reasoning.
• Verify the correctness of answers across topics such as algebra, calculus, probability, statistics, and applied mathematics.
• Identify inaccuracies, logical gaps, or unclear reasoning in AI outputs.
• Provide structured feedback to improve clarity, accuracy, and alignment with mathematical standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine evaluation guidelines and quality benchmarks.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy while working with large volumes of content.
• Ensure all evaluations follow established guidelines and project requirements.
