Application Security Analyst

As an Application Security Analyst, you'll work with realistic security scenarios to help frontier AI models learn how to assess, prioritize, and reason about application risk. If you've spent time hunting vulnerabilities, reviewing code for flaws, or triaging production security issues, your expertise is exactly what's needed here.

What You'll Do

• Analyze application security scenarios spanning code, APIs, and system behavior
• Classify and evaluate vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, and business logic issues
• Assess secure coding practices and evaluate the quality of remediation strategies
• Distinguish real-world exploitability from theoretical or low-impact risk
• Create and validate security-focused reasoning datasets that teach AI to assess application risks accurately
• Provide clear, structured written analysis that AI systems can learn from

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in application security, product security, or software security roles
• Solid familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and how common vulnerabilities appear in live systems
• Ability to evaluate risk in context — not just flag issues, but reason about real-world impact
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain security reasoning clearly and concisely
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with penetration testing, code review, or threat modeling
• Background in secure SDLC practices or bug bounty programs
• Familiarity with AI or data labeling workflows
