Actuary Expert

AfterQuery partners with frontier AI labs to build expert-level evaluation and training data. We are hiring credentialed actuaries as contractors to review, create, and rank actuarial content that teaches AI models how real risk work is done. You will evaluate AI-generated pricing, reserving, and valuation analysis for technical accuracy, and create expert demonstrations drawn from your own practice across life, health, P&C, or pensions. The work is paid hourly, fully remote, and fully async - you choose when and how much you work.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated actuarial analysis for technical accuracy
• Create expert demonstrations of pricing, reserving, and risk modeling workflows
• Rank and label model responses against actuarial standards of practice

Requirements

• SOA or CAS credential (ASA, FSA, ACAS, or FCAS) or substantial exam progress (3+ actuarial exams)
• 2+ years of professional actuarial experience (pricing, reserving, valuation, or modeling)
• Strong written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• FSA or FCAS designation
• Experience across life, health, P&C, or pensions
• Fluency with actuarial modeling tools (Axis, Prophet, R, Python)
